Goodness a lot has been going on in the Zambrana household. Christian is (unfortunately) back at work, on day shift. Originally this was wonderful news. Then Leah decided waking up at 9am is overrated and has instead taken to staying up all night and going to sleep at 6am. I love my child, really I do, but it's caused Christian and I to rarely see each other. Christian wakes up at 0430 for work, leaves at 0540, Leah begins to pass out around 0600, I am asleep by 0700, Leah wakes up around 1100 to nurse, we fall back asleep around 1200, wake up for good between 1500 and 1600, Christian gets home at 1630, I make dinner as soon as he gets home, then the whole evening revolves around what Leah needs. Before you know it...it's time to do it all over again. As selfish as it is, I am mostly upset by this because I don't get to cuddle up with Christian. I already had my husband gone for 10 of the last 24 months (a small feat to many, but a large one for us thus far) all I want is to be able to sleep next to him at night. Is that so much to ask?
All whining aside, things have been fairly decent lately. The weather is warming up, we got family pictures taken, and I am 5lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. We have our first appointment of many for our PCS tomorrow (medical clearance), and we've even been cloth diapering for almost 10 days now. It hasn't been nearly as difficult as I feared. :)
For now, it's almost 11am and I haven't slept properly since Friday night...so I'll cut this off here.
